Military Contract gets a Leading Edge

Edge Media was recently contracted by the New
Zealand Defence Force to successfully film New
Zealand’s first Air-to-Surface Missile launch from
a helicopter. This was a logistically challenging
job, with six cameras covering the event, a camera
crew based on the Frigate Te Kaha for a week, a
camera crew on the ground, two mini cams on the
firing Air Force helicopter facing in two
directions and a camera crew filming air-to-air
from a second Air Force
helicopter.
As part of the contract we produced, coordinated and distributed footage to all the TV news networks. We successfully achieved coverage on all the major news channels and online newspapers as well.
